At Trivallis, our ambitious new tenant services strategy is transforming how we support our communities. As a Community Housing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in this exciting journey, ensuring our services are built around people, not processes.

Team around the tenant

At Trivallis, we’re committed to making each tenant feel supported by a team that works seamlessly together. With our “Team around the Tenant” approach, everyone involved in supporting our tenants—housing officers, support staff, and more—works collaboratively, focusing on the individual needs of each tenant. This means that instead of dealing with different departments separately, tenants experience a united team that listens, responds, and takes action as one. It’s a simpler, more personal way to provide the support that matters, ensuring tenants feel valued and empowered.

The role

  • As a Community Housing Manager, you'll lead the delivery of an outstanding housing service including the delivery of management of empty homes, tenancy management, community safety, liaison with partners including elected members and other community representatives. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering the Team around the Tenant approach within your area team and ensuring strong working relationships with Internal and external stakeholders
  • The Community Housing Manager will have operational responsibility for large team set in each geographical area and will be responsible for ensuring high quality engaged service to tenants as well as building and maintaining high quality relationships to internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also be responsible for managing health and safety issues in your area.
  • In addition to your area manager responsibility, you will also take the lead for one of 3 specialisms for the whole of the community housing team. Those 3 specialisms are Community Safety: Allocations and Lettings; and Tenancy Support.

About you

We're looking for someone with significant experience of leading large teams in a complex housing management and support service. We’ll expect you to lead and develop the service and embody our values in every interaction. You'll bring to life the Team around the Tenant approach and role model our values and behaviours in everything you do for tenants and stakeholders. For this role you will need a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
